Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant

Sports Rehabilitation Physical and Hand Therapy are actively looking for a Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistant to join our staff. This position is 4-5 days a week for 8-10 hours as needed.

Sports Rehab is located at 107th and Nall, Overland Park, KS 66211. Our therapists work one on one with patients and typically will see 8-12 patients per day. This is a great opportunity to work with staff who excel in their knowledge and expertise in all things dealing with physical therapy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by developing a plan using skilled intervention to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

• Interpret prescriptions, perform an initial evaluation, and establish a treatment plan with functional goals updating them throughout the continuum of care.

• Periodic and timely written communication to physicians and/or case managers.

• Determine appropriate discharge management and patient follow-up.

• Responsible for documenting all treatment in patient charts and completing all written communications in a timely manner.

• Maintain compliance with all HIPAA, PHI and OSHA rules and regulations.

• The PT must assess and record patient activities and progress while maintaining accurate records for evaluating patients, billing, and reporting to physicians

Education and Experience

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,and/or ability required.

• Masters, or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program or PTA program

• Current Professional licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant

• Meet licensure requirement for the state of Kansas

• Current BLS Certification

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range is between $72,500 and $85,000 for full time P.T.

• We pay for Summit CEU courses online

• Compensation for CEU courses

• Offer 80 hrs PTO for new staff
