Aquatic Physical Therapy

Sports Rehab Physical & Hand Therapy offers Aquatic Physical Therapy using the SwimEx at our Corporate Medical Plaza campus. Our Aquatic Physical Therapy Program provides an individual based intervention that complements and accelerates our traditional land physical therapy.  Some of the common diagnoses that benefit from our Aquatic Physical Therapy Program include:

The specially trained staff will use the physical principles of water (buoyancy, hydrostatic pressure and viscosity) to provide for the following clinical benefits:

The SwimEx features multiple water depths, distinct workstations and a paddlewheel propulsion system that creates a reproducible, measurable current and a chairlift that can support up to 275 pounds.
